the Unknown

We just finished a week of recording with Nicholas Wilbur–who is incredible–at an old church turned studio called the Unknown in Anacortes, WA. We recorded as a band. If you have ever seen Drowse live you know it is very different than what I do by myself. Getting to focus on art for so many hours every day in a space where records I love have been made cleared my foggy head. At the end of the week we got to see Mount Eerie play his entire new album and and I haven’t cried so much in public since my close friend’s funeral a few years ago. Returning, I feel a renewed sense of purpose and blossoming creativity.
